(if you are old enough to have grown up watching this movie as we did!) This movie finds a regular place in our Christmas movie rotation, and we guarantee you will love it too!

Gremlins is a 1984 comedy horror film directed by Joe Dante. The story revolves around a young man named Billy who receives a strange creature called a Mogwai as a Christmas gift. However, there are three important rules that must be followed when taking care of the Mogwai: avoiding bright light, not getting it wet, and never feeding it after midnight. Unfortunately, these rules are broken, and chaos ensues as the Mogwai multiplies and transforms into mischievous and destructive creatures known as Gremlins. The film follows Billy’s attempts to control the Gremlins and save his town from their havoc. Gremlins is known for its unique blend of humor and horror, and has become a cult classic in the years since its release, and a Christmas-time favorite!
